“The most rewarding part of what I do is finding the best optical solution for each individual patient. There is a lens out there for every person's needs and by keeping my product knowledge current I can serve our patients with a superior lens choice. Patients constantly tell us that Oviedo Vision Center also carries the best selection of frames and sunglasses around. The eyewear you choose represents Oviedo Vision Center and it is our job to help you look good and see better.”
Margie– since 2010Billing Coordinator
“Sometimes talking about money or insurance can be awkward. We use the information you give us to determine your financial responsibilities for services and products you receive at Oviedo Vision Center. I am experienced in working with insurance companies to verify the benefits they owe our patients and work hard on their behalf to resolve payments as quickly as possible. Of course, you are always your best advocate with your insurance company – after all, you are the one paying the premiums to them! Call me with any question about insurance or billing procedures.”
Rachel– since 2012Doctor's Assistant & Contact Lens Technician
“If you are wearing or considering contact lenses, remember that they are medical devices that sit on the surface of your eye and require monitoring by a Doctor of Optometry. Our large number of contact lens patients and extensive inventory allows us to offer competitive pricing and convenient availability. Call me with questions about contact lenses.”
Karen- since 2019Optical Technician
Kandis– since 2019Patient Coordinator/Insurance Verification
“I only have one chance to make a first impression so whether answering a phone call or greeting an incoming patient it is important to me that they have my full attention. We have appointments available Monday through Friday for our patients’ convenience and can often verify insurance benefits before they arrive. Maintaining patient flow in the office keeps our patients transitioning smoothly until all staff is satisfied that we’ve done our best for that visit. Call me to verify your benefits or make an appointment or to schedule special testing in our office.”
Shelia– since 2019Doctor's Assistant
My primary responsibility is to prepare patients for the doctor’s examination, The pre-testing of your eyes is important because it gathers so much information which adds to a comprehensive eye exam. I enjoy working in the Optical and Contact Lens departments, too.
